What are Dental Implant?

A dental implants is a titanium screw, that is fixed in the jaw bone to replace the root of missing tooth. It is used to support one or more false teeth.

Are implants safe & how long will they last?

Implants are a safe, well-established treatment. Much like natural teeth, they will last for as long as you care for them.

Can implants always be used to replace missing teeth?

It depends on the condition of the bone in your jaw. The dentist will arrange special tests to find out the amount of bone present. Sometimes the bone is not enough, or is not healthy enough, so the implants cannot be placed without grafting the bone into the area first.

How long does the treatment takes?

It is usually a 2-steps procedure. Our dental team will be able to give you rough time table before the treatment starts. Usually the false teeth are placed 3-4 months after the implants are put in. Sometimes however the treatment takes longer.
